Muslimah: Strength. Wisdom. Sisterhood. Mission Muslimah Is a collaborated effort by young women to instil within themselves and others the desire to serve their Creator in the manner that His Last Messenger and righteous women before them served. "Muslimah" seeks to realize this powerful mission by mobilizing women via such avenues as conferences, seminars, and special events to achieve this goal with the ultimate aim that they become active and positive members of society. Sisters' Exposee / Fashion Show Since it began in 2007, the annual Sisters' Exposee/ Fashion show is the first in a series of intended events (inshAllah) which seeks to achieve the mission by showcasing the wonderful contributions Muslimahs are making to society: including contributions by up and coming fashion designers, spoken word artists, graphic designers, artists, and sisters from diverse professional backgrounds. Advisory Committee Muslimah is supported by an advisory committee that consists of sisters who have served as key organizers and volunteers for various mosques, conferences such as Reviving the Islamic Spirit, CAMP - Muslim Professional Association, Young Muslims and Islamic Schools.
